I have always been curious about what I was truly capable of. This curiosity has motivated me through both hardships and successes and has sincerely enriched my life experiences. I have traveled across the globe, pushed my body beyond what I could have ever imagined, and stretched my mind to overcome challenges that seemed near impossible.
I am an Olympian, a massage therapist, personal trainer and have an MBA. But life is not about labels or accomplishments...my greatest successes in life are my relationships with my family (my beautiful baby and loving husband) and my attitude (my desire to continue learning and growing in all that I do.)
I understand that everyone has unique hopes and dreams for their life as well as unique challenges. YOU are an expert in YOU. But I am here to help. Maybe you need a workout plan and the motivation to execute. Maybe you need new ideas for healthy diet modifications and strategies. Or help relaxing and rejuvenating stress tension and tight muscles. Whatever goals and challenges you have, you need inspiration, a plan, and accountability. I am here for you.
I grew up in an active household and played every sport- organized or not- that I could get into. With my parents as models of "sport at all ages", I learned how to play pond hockey, cross country ski, swim, and climb at a very young age. In high school I attended a small rural school in Ohio and lettered in Soccer, Basketball, Track, Swimming, Cross Country, and Band!
I attended Penn State University for college where I ran Cross Country, Indoor Track and Outdoor Track while majoring in Kinesiology (Exercise Science).
After college I moved out to Eugene, Oregon to run for Nike and one of its professional track teams, the Oregon Track Club Elite. After 4 years, I switched to Brooks and finished off my running career running for Team Run Eugene.
While running, I enrolled in the University of Oregon and obtained my MBA in Sports Marketing. My first job out of running was Assistant Women's Distance Coach at the University of Akron, back in Ohio. A few years later, I moved back to Eugene and accepted a role in fundraising for a new community youth recreational facility. Working there was very rewarding but it helped me realize that I wanted to be working with athletes and learning more about the human body. I started taking classes at a local community college and became a certified LMT in May of 2023.
In my free time, I love getting into the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest with my friends and family. My husband was a former decathlete for the University of Oregon and is now a high school teacher and coach. We have an incredibly fun baby boy, Bodhi and a Portuguese Water Dog, Celo.
